Starting from Scratch: Great Harvest’s Custom Audio Tour

“Bake phenomenal bread” and “run fast to help customers” are two of the five tenets in Great Harvest’s mission statement. In this spirit, Great Harvest’s owner wanted to step up the customer experience by adding drive thrus – allowing faster, more convenient service for both team members and patrons.

Working with Great Harvest on a digital menu solution, Stream Signage reached out to Highmark for our expertise in #DriveThruTechnology and QSR audio equipment. Since Great Harvest was starting from scratch, they wanted to experience all of the options available so they could decide on the best solution for their brand, customers, and business model.

Great Harvest corporate team members gathered in Utah with Highmark and Stream Signage to go on a custom tour of installed audio for hands-on/ears-on, live-action demos of #QSRTechnology. The group mounted up and visited a variety of locations in Salt Lake City, where the Great Harvest executive team was able to ask questions, get pros and cons from other QSR owners and employees, and watch and listen to customer interactions.

Great Harvest shared that they had the confidence in choosing the best solution for them because they got to try out the headsets themselves, see them in use, and compare one system to another.

With the hands-on education Highmark provided, Great Harvest chose the four-headset HME EOS system and prefab loop with full install. With their new #RestaurantHeadsets and drive thru equipment, their locations will be able to receive orders in a timely and accurate manner while providing a quick and personal drive thru experience. The right audio solution will enable customers to enjoy Great Harvest’s phenomenal, fresh-baked menu with even greater speed and convenience.

In less than six months after the tour, the first Great Harvest drive thru opened in West Virginia.
